``I am very disorganized and lose everything that isn't stapled to my head! My closets look like they were hit by a tsunami and I don't have the time with my busy schedule to find a proper place for anything ... so there is only one person for the job ... ASK YANA! Yana reorganized my life and because of her I have saved so much time and been a better person on the air because I don't waste time looking for stuff! It doesn't last forever so I am glad I can ASK YANA to visit my home on a regular basis to put the pieces back together!``

A life changing transformation from head to toe is what Yana promised and delivered.

I am a 42 year old mom of 1 and a grandma of 2 (soon to be 3!). My style was minimal and subdued and I have never worn makeup in my life. My hair is very thick and finding a style that was suitable for the office that I could also wear up and still look professional was impossible!

Yana's styling techniques and extensive knowledge taught me how to dress for my body type, apply makeup correctly and she gave me a smile that deserves to be shown. Yana suggested a shorter layered cut that would still give me length but added shape and bounce to my over drowning do.  My new cut and style is easy to manage and looks amazing! Next was a full makeup makeover that I thought I didn't need. Ladies take it from me...just because you don't wear it and have never worn it, doesn't mean you don't need it! The transformation floored me and my boyfriend. Needless to say I ran with all the professional recommendations I received from Yana and now wear it regularly!

Yana also taught me that you don't have to spend hundreds in an outfit to look and feel amazing. She chose incredible "budget friendly" outfits that complimented and accentuated my body. I am now much more open when shopping alone and I have the confidence to step outside of the box and try new colors, prints and styles.

No one should feel that this is not for them. Step up and take a chance you will be glad you did! This complete makeover boosted my self-esteem and reassured me your never to old to learn new things.

Yana thank you for going above and beyond and thank you for the new me! You are the greatest!

Love,

Wanda Street

``I have had the good fortune of knowing Yana for over 20 years. I spent many days and numerous nights with my dear friend and former colleague, styling myself and purging my closet. The tips, lessons and fashion battles (she was always right and I am stubborn as all get out) as she trained me, as only a true Fashionista could, remain ingrained in my mind, heart and soul; not to mention my closet!

I currently work for a prestigious College with 4 campuses in California as a Public Speaker and College Representative; Fashion Institute of Design and Merchandising/FIDM.

I still dream of Yana showing up at my doorstep and having her do what she does best....everything related to Fashion and Style! In fact, she put together an unbelievable presentation for myself and 40 Fashionista colleagues as we traveled to Scandinavia and Russia, returning last Saturday. I will leave further comments on her stellar presentation for FIDM to our Director to make upon her return.
In closing, it is so wonderful to have a front row seat watching you do what you love and unleashing your talent to share with so many other fortunate souls who retain your services.

You have always been at the top of your game in whatever you do and have earned numerous National awards in your previous endeavors. You have a relentless work ethic with incredibly high standards that match your impeccable taste! I have no doubt you will continue to paint the city in true style and continue to cast your magic on others, all while making it appear effortless. Thank you for sharing your gift!``

Cheers my friend!

Yana Brikker of ASK YANA Inc. is a talented and creative entrepreneur, that successfully blends her knowledge of Russia and her fashion expertise, into a magical means of writing and visuals. Yana designed a beautiful brochure, truly a piece of artwork, as support to our internal marketing and information pieces, distributed for a Spring Conference in Scandinavia. One of the ports-of-call was St. Petersburg, and the substance and variety of content provided, was so very helpful to our teams' planning purposes for the visit and a succinct history lesson, prior to arrival. Thank you, Yana, for your beautiful rendition and for assisting us with this project

“I had the pleasure of working with Yana on Dogs on the Catwalk, an intricate fundraiser to train service dogs and volunteer services for Baycrest Hospital. It entailed pairing fashion designers with models and dogs on the catwalk. Designers had to do coordinating outfits for both model and dog on the runway.

Yana was very knowledgeable about the fashion industry and made some wonderful contacts and helped fundraise.  She was a pleasure to work with.  She has energy, foresight and great communications skills. I have no doubt that with her expertise she will be successful in a lifestyle and image consulting agency.

Best of luck, my friend.”

It is a great privilege to have a stylist as your best girlfriend, but at the same time it can be very stressful and overwhelming! Thinking of having peaceful dinner? Not a chance! Before you know it your closet is turned upside down, reorganized, categorized and downsized! Things you had a hard time to part with (but you know "its time!) are already carefully folded and ready for donation! Dream come through! Just Ask Yana!😁😄❤

As a woman who has numerous wardrobe changes during a day, wife, mom, corporate, athletic, entertainment gala’s etc, I had no idea how chaotic my wardrobe was - until Yana showed up. Magically decluttered, organized, sorted and took hours off my life trying to figure out what and where!   And thanks to her amazing taste in clothes etc. I can’t shop With out her - literally. Whenever I sport an Ask Yana ensemble - be it designer or cheap and cheerful - I am asked where I get my outfits from.  So privileged to have Ask Yana in my life.  Game changer. Look good feel good. Feel good look great.

Yana Brikker is a great friend and I am forever grateful for all the help she has given me. Yana came to my house 1 night and organized my 3 closes and it only took her few hours. when she was done, I thought that I had a whole new wardrobe. She put all my looks together and made dressing up for work every morning so much fun and so much easier. Yana is great and I would highly recommend her.

Dear Yana

As 2018 is coming to a close we want to pause to say a big thank-you. We have had an absolutely wonderful year at Dress for Success Toronto and Dress Your Best, and we could not do it without your tremendous support.

2018 involved a great leap forward in serving our GTA community. After an extensive location search, we moved our boutique to the North York Centre allowing us to have a much larger, professional and fully accessible location to serve our clients. We are so proud to share that our team of dedicated volunteers enabled us to serve over 2,000 clients this year empowering women and men in achieving economic independence.

This year, thanks to your generous support, our fundraising events were exceptional. In the spring, we held our most successful Bay Street Suit Challenge yet with over 24,600 units of clothing donations to our boutique. Last month, we celebrated the women who inspire us at our annual Polished gala. Held at the historic Great Hall we were thrilled to see so many guests inspired by our conversations and eager to support to our cause

We have big plans for 2019 and would love to have you join in our journey again. Keep an eye on our website and social platforms for ways you can get involved through 2019.

Happy holidays from all of us at Dress for Success Toronto and Dress Your Best!
